Coalescence Blues/Fusion Dance

Every Sunday
    Beginner lesson 7:30pm-8:30pm
    Intermediate/Advanced Practica 7:30pm-8:30pm
    Dancing 8:30pm - 11:30pm

Academie Duello, 412 W. Hastings St, Vancouver, BC

Cost:
Sliding scale of $8-$20. Sliding scale means that $8 is the minimum, and more is welcome. Suggested value is $10 for dance only, and $15 for dance + lesson.
Want to get in for free? Volunteer! Volunteer shifts happen before, during, and after the dance, and are 30 minutes to an hour. Sign up here.

Music:
The style ranges anywhere from blues, alt tango, triphop, chillstep, R&B to anything in between and much more, including popular radio songs. The term "fusion," when applied to music, usually refers to any danceable music that is not immediately recognizable as traditional dance music such as tango, salsa, bachata or swing. This may sound too general and wide ranging, but our DJs are experienced dancers themselves that know how to blend music and keep the dancers moving until late into the night. The DJs are varied and each bring their own unique blend and atmosphere to the dance.
